OK, WOW. I have to say that right now I have about a million different emotions running through my body. I seriously cannot believe what has just happened...I have been chosen as a finalist in a photo contest! Russel James
is an amazing photographer who has done photo shoots all over the world, shot celebrities, Victoria Secret models and campaigns, and has had photographs on the covers of numerous magazines, and I am a fan of him on Facebook. He has been holding photo contests periodically, and this past week he posted a new contest- Human Action. Well, I have never entered a photo contest before, so I decided, what the heck, I'll give it a try. You could enter as many pictures as you wanted, but only 30 would be chosen. I entered my pictures and sat back and waited. The last time I checked back to see how many entries there were over 8,500! GULP. I thought, that's it, I have not a chance. Well, I checked today to see the finalists, and as I was scrolling through the photographs, to my complete shock (I literally sat staring at my screen with my mouth wide open) I saw that he had hand picked one of my photos. Holy SMOKES! I am in total shock, I'm almost to the point of hyperventilating, I want to scream, jump up and down, hug someone, but at the same time I feel totally humbled and in complete disbelief that I have been chosen. So anyway, I just had to share the news. I CANNOT believe it! And while the contest is based solely on others 'liking' my photo (the winner is chosen by how many likes they get) I could care less. I am just honored to have been chosen for this! My first contest ever entered, and I was picked out of THOUSANDS. So here are the pictures I entered, pick your favorite, and then follow the link at the bottom of the post to see which picture actually got chosen. Ü Then feel free to click through the rest of the album to see the other 29 finalists. There are some AMAZING pictures in there!
