I've been photographing this family every year since big sister was a newborn...just a few days old. It is so fun watching them grow from a family of three into now a family of 4. Little sis did GREAT on her session, being so sweet and sleepy the entire session until the end. That last cotton shot I have to say was a miracle. She was HUNGRY and wanted to eat, but the sun was setting and I'd been dreaming of that shot in my head for over a year. We got her to settle for JUST a second, got the shot and then she was ready to be done! What a sweet girl and a wonderful family though. We always love photographing them. I hope you love some of our favorite pictures from this session Ü Welcome to the world baby Sofia! We are lucky to have you with us.

The first time I photographed Tori and Nelson, I was a brand new baby (newbie) photographer. They were my second, yes second, paying session EVER. I was nervous as could be but I loved photographing these two. Now they have two babies of their own and it makes me SO happy whenever I get e-mails from them telling me they are ready for another session. I LOVE seeing families expand and their children growing up in front of my lens. It's one of the things I love most about my job. And not to mention that these two have some of the dang cutest kids ever. Can you believe those giant blue eyes? Watch out mom and dad when these two boys get bigger. They are going to break some hearts for SURE. Thanks again Tori & Nelson. We hope you love your pictures!

Yes, I don't know how I got so lucky either...I have been extremely blessed this year to photograph some absolutely beautiful girls. I decided to take Mikala to one of my favorite spots, and when we got there I was SO excited to see that there were some beautiful flowers blooming everywhere. Anyone who knows me knows I am a total sucker for wildflowers. We had a great time, and I loved getting to know her. Thanks again Mikala! I hope you love your pictures :)
There was SUCH a beautiful sunset that evening. The way the colors reflected off the water was so beautiful. This is my favorite shot of the day. So glad I was able to capture it :)

The first time I met Esther, it was in our college Astronomy class many MANY years ago! I thought she was pretty and her hair was amazing. Then we got paired up as lab partners and I got to know her. We had SO much fun in that class. Most of it spent laughing and getting in trouble by our teacher for not paying attention. We have stayed in touch over the years and have been Facebook friends for a while now. I've seen her every so often when they come down to visit family, and I was so excited to get an e-mail from her asking if we could do their family pictures this year. Her hair, still amazing, seriously it looks like spun gold don't you think? I think she wins the award for best hair EVER. And it was so fun to see her kids in person and see their personalities. Her daughter is blessed with gorgeous locks like her mom, and is gorgeous too, and her boys are just the cutest things EVER. We had a great session, and I had the hardest time trying to pick which ones to put on here. So I hope you like the long post! Thanks again Esther and Marcos. We hope you love your pictures!
Showing off those BIG muscles! What a cutie.
One of my favorites, and I loved it in black and white and color...so I put up both :)
